Is there a parking fee?

The cost of parking will vary depending on the specific event and the fee typically ranges between $0-$10 (General and Premium lots available), cash onlyAll lots are subject to availability.

Will my car get towed if I park at Costco or any of the others businesses located in and around the arena?

YES! State statue 304.157, subsection 2, provides some direction on towing from private property: “law enforcement officer within his jurisdiction may authorize a towing company to remove such abandoned property from the property in the following circumstances: (2) In the judgment of a law enforcement officer, the abandoned property constitutes a safety hazard or unreasonably interferes with the use of the real property by the person in possession.”

Can I re-enter an event after exiting?

No. Once a patron leaves the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena during an event, there is no re-entry permitted unless another ticket is purchased.

What about safety?

For your safety, Silverstein Eye Centers Arena has purchased and installed walk through metal detectors.

Guests will be asked to remove keys, phones, mobile devices, camera's and any other large metal items. Unlike what you expect at an airport, guests will NOT be asked to remove shoes, belts, small jewelry, watches, hair clips or other small amounts of loose change during the initial screening.

Children are subject to screening, however, parents with an infant may carry the baby. Parents who are attending with small children who are able to walk on their own are invited to proceed through the machines alongside their children.

Guests with artificial knee and or hip replacements can safely proceed through the machines, but if the guest would prefer wand screening they may request such accommodation.

Wheelchairs, scooters, and walkers fit through the machines, guests may use them. If the mobility device does not fit, or sets off the alarm, or if the guest prefers another search method a screening with a wand will be conducted.

It is safe for expectant mothers to proceed through the machines, however, expectant mothers who prefer wand screening may request such accommodation.

Box Office and Ticketing

Where can I purchase tickets?

Tickets for all on-sale Silverstein Eye Centers Arena events are available to purchase in-person at the box office or online at Ticketmaster.com.

Can I purchase tickets for events happening at other venues at the box office?

No. The Silverstein Eye Centers Arena Box Office is not a Ticketmaster outlet. It will only sell tickets for events happening within Silverstein Eye Centers Arena. Please refer to the official website of the venue hosting the event you want to attend to find out how and where you can purchase tickets.

Where is the box office located and what are the operating hours?

The Silverstein Eye Centers Box Office is open Monday – Friday, 10:00am-5:00pm with extended hours on event days. The box office is closed on non-event weekends and during cash only events. Please note the operating hours can also vary during holidays whether with a short business day or closed. The box office is located on the East side of the facility with "Ticket Office" clearly marking its entrance.

Does the box office handle will call?

Yes. Will call is available during regular Silverstein Eye Centers Box Office business hours and during events. Guests must present a photo I.D. to pick up their tickets, no tickets will be distributed unless the individual presenting the I.D matches the person listed on it. Please note, the Silverstein Eye Centers Box Office does not accept outside/third party will call, please make arrangements in advance to distribute tickets to your party.

I purchased tickets online, do I have to wait until the event day to pick them up?

In most cases no, we encourage our guests to pick up their advance purchased tickets at anytime during regular box office house. Please note, tickets will be left under the name of the person who purchased the tickets. If the person that purchased the tickets wishes to change the name of the person picking up the tickets, they must contact Ticketmaster in advance at 1-800-745-3000 and change the name to reflect the person authorized pick up the tickets. The Silverstein Eye Centers Box Office can only release tickets that were purchased in advance through Ticketmaster to the person who's name appears on the account associated with the ticket purchase.

Please note, in some cases VIP tickets or tickets purchased through a special package offered by an artist or tour may only be available for pickup on the event day. Please read all instructions carefully at the completion of your ticket purchase.

What if I misplaced my tickets or they were stolen?

If you lose your tickets or if they are stolen, please print out the confirmation you received at the time of purchase and bring it to the box office to have your tickets reprinted as soon as possible. In some cases, we may have to charge you a fee to reprint your tickets. Please handle your tickets with care and treat them like they are cash. We understand that things happen and will do everything we can to assist you! If need assistance related to lost or stolen tickets, please bring your receipt. confirmation or any documentation you have from the original time of purchase to the box office so they can adequately assist you. Please note in some cases the box office cannot recover tickets but they will do their best.

How early are the doors opened before a concert, sporting event, or other event?

The doors generally open one (1) hour prior to the scheduled game/event time. 

Guest Services & Conduct

Where is Guest Services located?

We have ushers and security staff stationed throughout the concourse and seating areas from the time the doors open until the conclusion of the event. There is also a customer service window attached to the box office near the East entry doors to handle ticketing-related questions or concerns during an event. If you have a question or need assistance ahead of your event, please call 816-442-6100. 

What items are restricted in the facility?

The following items are strictly prohibited:

  • Aerosol cans
  • Alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs
  • Animals (except certified service dogs for the disabled)
  • Beach balls and other inflatable items
  • Bota bags or wine skins
  • Bullhorns, air horns, or noise makers
  • Bicycles
  • Cameras or recording devices (varies by event)
  • Confetti
  • Fireworks, firearms, or other weapons
  • Helium Balloons
  • Backpacks
  • Glass bottles or aluminum cans, ice chests (coolers) or thermos containers
  • Laser pointers
  • Outside food or beverage
  • Signs
  • Skateboards or roller blades
  • Sticks or clubs (including signs attached to sticks)
  • Stools or folding chairs
  • Water bottles or mugs

Facility management, artist/tour management, and security reserves the right to ban any additional items at their discretion. Silverstein Eye Centers Arena and security staff reserves the right to search anyone, and their belongings, who enter the premises.

Who should I report an unruly guest or guest behaviors to?

Please inform the usher immediately in or around your section/concourse or visit the customer service window near the East entry doors.

What policies are in place to ensure that fans have a great experience?

Guests interfering with other guests’ ability to enjoy the event may be subject to ejection. Guests using foul or abusive language or inappropriate or unacceptable gestures may be ejected from the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena. Guests appearing impaired may be ejected from the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena and turned over to the appropriate authorities.

Does the facility have a lost and found?

Yes. Any items that have been lost or found should be reported to the nearest usher or customer service window by the East entry doors. Please call 816-442-6100 after an event if you left something in the facility to see if it has been turned in. The Silverstein Eye Centers Arena is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.

Where can I find someone who has been lost or report a missing person from my party?

Please contact the nearest usher or security staff member on-site to report a lost person(s).

Where are the restrooms located in the facility?

Restrooms are located throughout the facility and they are all accessible to patrons with disabilities.

What are some restrictions in dealing with the posting of signs and posters?

No adhesive backed (stick-on) decals or similar items may be distributed or used in the building. No fliers or handouts will be distributed outside or inside the facility without prior approval from the General Manager. No posters, playbills or any other signage can be taped, stapled or affixed to any surface in the building. Building management, security staff, and artist/tour management reserve the right to prohibit any signs from entering the premises.

Is smoking allowed in the facility?

Smoking is not permitted inside Silverstein Eye Centers Arena. Designated smoking areas are provided for certain events. Smoking by patrons or exhibitors in any area of Silverstein Eye Centers Arena is strictly prohibited by City Ordinance. Smoking is defined as inhaling, exhaling, burning, or carrying any lighted cigar, cigarette, pipe, weed, plant, or anything that emits smoke or vapor including e-cigarettes.

Can I bring a camera or video camera to my event?

No recording devices or professional cameras are allowed inside the facility during any event. Also prohibited are cameras with detachable lenses of any length or make. Please note that the policy is subject to change depending on the requests of each artist, tour management, and their respective security teams. The Silverstein Eye Centers Arena building, security, and usher staff reserve the right to prohibit any camera, video camera, recording device, etc from entering the premises.

Does Silverstein Eye Centers Arena provide access to First Aid services?

The First Aid office is located on the main concourse, directly behind section 118. First Aid services are required at the time doors open, during, and one-half hour after show hours for all events. All public events are subject to staffing with such emergency medical personnel as an equipped paramedic, an EMT and/or ambulance service.

Are animals allowed inside the facility?

Animals are not permitted in the building unless for use by a disabled person.

What does the facility do to accommodate persons with disabilities?

All events will comply in all respects with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and regulations issued.

Food & Beverage Policies

Is outside food or beverage allowed in the facility?

No outside food and/or beverage is allowed in the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena facilities.

What are the alcohol policies for the facility?

The Silverstein Eye Centers Arena concessionaire has the exclusive agreement for alcohol at all permanent and portable concession stands within the facility, no alcoholic beverages can be brought into or taken out of the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena. Any cash liquor services and any hosted event’s liquor services are strictly handled by the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena concessionaire. The Silverstein Eye Center Arena supports responsible drinking at all times.

Group and Premium Sales

How can I get tickets for a group of 10 or more?

Group discounts are offered for most events held at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena. Visit the group sales page or call our Group Sales Manager at 816-777-0565 with any questions.

Are there suites available for rent?

Yes! Silverstein Eye Centers Arena would love to host your next party at one of our events in a private luxury suite. Visit the Premium Seating section or call our Premium Sales Manager at 816-442-6105 with any questions.

Meet & Greets + Novelties

How do I get a backstage pass or meet & greet?

Backstage passes are typically issued by the event promoter or artist management to radio stations and local fan clubs when available. They are not available for purchase through the facility. Occasionally, a tour will make a limited number of VIP packages available for purchase online that include a meet & greet.

Can I sell certain novelty items in the facility?

No. The Silverstein Eye Center Arena reserves all novelty rights, including but not limited to programs, novelties, tobacco products, conveniences, librettos, records, tape recordings, souvenirs, and checkrooms.

Will my event be selling merchandise?

Silverstein Eye Centers Arena cannot guarantee that each tour will bring or make merch available for purchase.

Centerpoint Community Ice Rink

Where is Centerpoint Community Ice Rink located?

19100 E. Valley View Rd., Independence, Mo. 64055 on the Southside of Silverstein Eye Centers Arena.

What are the Centerpoint Community Ice Rink operating hours?

The Community Ice Rink will operate 7 days a week (with varying holiday hours and private event closures) and be available for a variety of ice skating activities and ice sports training.
